You can apply to 15 separate Fire & Rescue Departments within Jefferson County (see our "Departments" section for more information) with a single application.

You must meet the qualifications below to be eligible for Firefighter.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

Must have NO felony convictions

Must possess a valid driver's license

Fire Paramedic
You can apply to Fire Paramedic for 15 separate Fire & Rescue Departments within Jefferson County (see our "Departments" section for more information) with a single application.
You must possess a current Paramedic License and National Registry certification to be eligible for Fire Paramedic.
